Rotating Equipment Planner will be accountable for developing maintenance work plans for rotating equipment per the Operations Directed Maintenance (ODM) Work Process, generating accurate job packages and cost estimates, and creating task lists for repeatable jobs
Responsibilities may include:
Planning and estimating labor, material and contractor resources for routine maintenance, outages and equipment overhauls
Reviewing, estimating, and planning all daily work activities to support machinists
Developing a plan task list library and planning package library for repeatable maintenance tasks
Notifying the master equipment data owner of any equipment changes or BOM changes
Updating changes to auto PM work orders Generating accurate and complete planning packages to maximize machinist productivity
Resolving priority, scope, job step, and resource requirements in collaboration with operations
Critiquing and adjusting plan task lists for completed jobs based on information from craft and supervisors
Completing work orders, notifications and documentation as necessary in the maintenance tracking system
Complying with all policies and procedures and all federal, state and local regulations
Assist area clerk with work order/notification closures and documentation as required
Providing weekly communication to area scheduler of status of jobs in weekly planning queue
Providing all planned packages to area scheduler for review and filing
Providing input and support for turnaround planning
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1 years or more of direct experience planning the repair and maintenance of refinery rotating equipment 5 years or more of direct work experience in industrial maintenance, crafts, shops or instrumentation environment
Have a 1Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
Computer proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Maximo and SAP
Ability to plan for multi-craft and contractors
Working knowledge of engineering, safety, and industrial standards and procedures
Able to read and perform material take-offs from isometrics and equipment drawings, per diem and overtime, Pay dependent on experience, Clean background, immediate fill.
