Sirius Technical Services is seeking a Project Manager in the New Orleans, AL area.
Position include responsibilities but not limited to the following:
Project Manager to manage projects from concept through completion. Effective communication skills and computer literacy; Responsible for capital investment projects and is accountable for meeting all scope requirements, including achieving project quality and design capacity, and for completing the project within the scheduled time frame and appropriate budget; Responsible for control of the project scope, schedule and cost. Demonstrated the capability of handling projects up to $2 million. Assuring capital projects meet project objectives (including cost, schedule, and scope) by managing the development, design and execution of assigned projects in accordance with specifications and standards. Ensuring accurate cost budgeting, estimating, forecasting and reporting of assigned projects. Providing clear, accurate scopes of work and construction packages including documentation. Providing new/revised Process Safety Information to the appropriate departments. Creating requisitions for engineered items and development of spare parts list. Cost control/reporting (including forecasting) and schedule attainment. Communicating and resolving technical and commercial issues as related to project objectives. Good communications with designers, engineering assistant, drafting supervisor.
Education & Requirements:
· 3-5 yr experience
· Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
