Position Requirements for Memphis, TN BS required;

1. U.S. Citizenship
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred for Memphis, TN but not for Galveston, TX or Sacramento, CA
3. 5+ years of experience in P6 (Primavera) developing resource loaded project schedules
4. Intermediate to advanced P6 user
5. Intermediate to Advanced level competency in both schedule and cost control
6. Experience running reports in P6
P6 test will be given for candidates selected for interview.
Construction Experience required.

The primary effort of the Project Control Specialist (PCS) is to work with our clients and project delivery team by developing schedule baselines; collecting and analyzing monthly schedule progress; identifying and assisting in analyzing project variances; and managing and reporting this information to appropriate levels in standard formats. Supports the implementation of procedures, systems and scheduling techniques. Interfaces with members of the project teams and various levels of management. The PCS will handle multiple projects, work independently, provide oversight when project lead and provide mentoring to junior staff. The PCS will be able to execute assigned work within budgets on all work they oversee as a project lead.

• 5 years of experience developing resource loaded CPM project schedules in P6 (Primavera)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Intermediate to Advanced P6 user.
• Intermediate to Advanced level competency in both schedule and cost control.
• Have experience running reports in Primavera
• Have a high emotional intelligence. Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment.
• PMP preferred
• DoD experience preferred
• All schedules shall be developed using the Critical Path Method (CPM) in Primavera P6
• Develop, monitor, and update resource-loaded schedules
• Evaluate, perform resource analysis, perform critical path analysis, and prepare reports, completely or partially, as described herein and as needed to accomplish the work task.
• The contractor shall be capable of performing CPM schedule development, schedule analysis, and prepare schedule presentations using Primavera P6.
• Participate in or lead a team to develop standards/guidelines for pre-award project schedules in conjunction with Project Management Business Process using best practices for Earned Value Management.
• Develop resource-loaded project/construction baseline CPM schedules in accordance with developed guidelines for approval by project teams.
• Provide support, scheduling assistance and education to project team members.
• Develop schedule templates for future use.
• Generate reports and update project schedules to include any scope changes on a weekly or as needed basis.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with all project team members.
• Review and verify all project related scheduling information with project teams.
• Develop, monitor and update post award schedules.
• Submit and present schedules and progress reports at project meetings.
• Develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with this PWS.
• Develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services.
• Performs other duties as required.
