Enscicon is a heavy industrial Staffing and Recruitment firm headquartered in Denver, CO. We have an immediate need for a Balance of Plant (BoP) Equipment Engineer to be located in either Georgia or Colorado.
The duration of the assignment is currently advertised as 3+ months.
The BOP equipment engineer is responsible for specification, coordination and problem resolution with regard to all non-company equipment in cement and minerals processing plants. This position requires a highly organized individual with the ability to coordinate and make decisions based on their impact to layout, schedule and budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work on proposals and projects gathering and generating all necessary documentation related to BOP equipment
Review client specifications and the vendors ability to meet these or negotiate exception
Generate and review technical specifications for all non-company equipment for the submittal of RFQs taking into account company and client specifications.
Generate QRs and PRs
Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and vendors
Coordinate drawing reviews for successful bidders among the necessary engineering departments
Coordinate change orders as necessary throughout the design process as design changes are required
Some field investigations may be required on a limited basis.
Resolve construction and commissioning issues that arise regarding any BOP equipment
Degree in mechanical engineering or similar with pertinent industry experience
Involvement working with some of the following equipment; bulk material movers, fans, blowers, bag houses, pneumatic conveying systems, and burners
Experience reviewing and marking up drawings
Possess superior oral and written communication skills.
Interact positively with the client, project teams, equipment suppliers, field services, and office staff.
While commercial negotiations are not part of the duties of this job, a BOP Equipment Engineer must be able to resolve issues in a way to minimize schedule and costs impacts
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Advanced understanding of equipment in cement and minerals processing plants including but not limited to; bulk material movers, fans, blowers, bag houses, pneumatic conveying systems, and burners
Experience working with an international company
Willingness to coordinating across multiple time zones
Basic AutoCAD skills and exposure to 3D
Exposure to SAP
Exposure to Comos
