Candidates shall demonstrate their experience in the performance of Purchasing and Contracts procurement functions which includes issuing RFP/RFQ's, evaluating proposals/bids, negotiating, selection, price/cost analysis, award, expediting and administration and closeout for construction and or services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare electronic documentation in accordance with the Client Business Process Guides, policies and procedures and Scorecard requirements.
A self-starter with a can do attitude and able to multitask depending upon experience.
Capable of performing procurement duties under general to minimal supervision.
Excellent customer service skills in working with others in Procurement, internal and external customers and contractors/vendors.
Qualifications and Experience
BA/BS and 2 years or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with working knowledge of PowerPoint purchasing materials management systems.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in the Utility Industry
Experience with the use of SAP
Construction contract experience highly desirable – particularly with EPC (Engineer, Procure, Construct) contracts or Design/Build contracts.
