System One is currently seeking a Field Engineer on a 9 month contract position located in Wheaton, WI.

Field Engineer Responsibilities:
Support the technical aspects of the project; resolving design/technical discrepancies that the installation contractors come under, clarifying design to contractors if they have questions.
Will be on-site to resolve issues quickly to keep construction process moving forward.
Will be interacting with both construction contractors as well as the project management team and engineering consultant who is doing the design.
Operate independently on the construction sire, act on the companies behalf to support the construction process/schedule as efficient as possible.
Spending time in the field to resolve discrepancies and supporting central project management office.
Reporting, helping to assemble weekly construction status updates.
May be times when construction management group may not be available, and the resource may need to step into this role to cover.

Field Engineer Requirements:
Familiarity with combustion turbines and reciprocating engines
Extensive mechanical and electrical installation
BS degree in Engineering preferably mechanical or electrical engineering
Field/Design experience
Previous field engineering support experience
Experience with technical aspects; resolving design/technical discrepancies
8+ years background with construction support/design consulting

Duration: 9 months (however project is slated to go until 2025)
Location: Wheaton, WI
Pay Rate: $62-70.15/hr
