** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Special Projects Engineer to fill a three- month assignment in the Quinton, AL area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

The Special Projects Engineer position requires 10 to 15 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.

Proficiency in advanced project coordination
Expert in project planning, documentation, and technical support
Provide support for PLC and DCS Cabinet and PLC cabinet cleaning of Instrumentation during Unit Outages
Planning, Coordination, execution and Communication with Outage Team
Technical person with extensive experience in electronics, instrumentation, program configuration, distributed/process control systems, plant electrical maintenance
Provides technical expertise and support for projects within an organization that fall outside of typical norms
Work includes assisting in project planning, execution, and coordination to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives
Assist in the development of project plans for the initiatives
Collaborate with project teams to gather and organize project requirements
Provide support in coordinating project activities- ensuring timelines are met
Assist in communication between project stakeholders
Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of project documentation
Prepare reports on project progress and key milestones
Provide technical support in the identification and resolution of project issues
Apply engineering principles to project challenges
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team
The ability to build effective relationships with staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors
