Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Engineer 1 to fill a 2 year assignment in Atlanta, GA. This will be a hybrid position/Site.
The Engineer Design contractor position in planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. The right candidate must be a self-starter, excellent communicator, critical thinker and able to make sound decisions.

As our Engineer in the design group, a typical day might include:
Working on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments
Performing assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products
Involved in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Performing system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them.
Provide oversight and support for construction activities

What candidate will need to qualify for this position:
BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or General)
1-3 years of progressive Engineering experience
Or Equivalent academic education and experience
Certifications/Licenses:
Preferred: Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)

MS Office - advanced proficiency
CAD/GIS - intermediate proficiency
