** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Engineer to fill a two- year assignment in the Atlanta, GA area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
No per diem
Location: Atlanta, GA

This position will be Hybrid. Applicant will be required to visit active construction sites to coordinate projects, advise personnel, and for learning opportunities.

Educational Requirements:
BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or General)
1-3 years of progressive Engineering experience
Or
Equivalent academic education and experience

Certifications/Licenses:
Preferred: Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)

This assignment requires a pretest.

PPE: Hard hat and vest to be provided. Steel toe boots will also be required but not provided.

Required:
Project Management skills
Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization
Computer Assisted Design/Geographic Information System - basic proficiency
MS Office - advanced proficiency
CAD/GIS - intermediate proficiency

Responsibilities:
Work on gas storage or gas fueling stations
Perform assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products
Involvement in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment
Perform system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them
Provide oversight and support for construction activities
High level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to leverage internal and external stakeholders to efficiently accomplish tasks and resolve issues
The ability and initiative and to work in a self-guided manner and collaboratively
Customer- focused critical thinking mindset with a demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient in proposing solutions and completing tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to work across a matrix organization structure with horizontal and vertical teams
