Project Manager – GIS & Technology Solutions

Job Overview:
4P Consulting is seeking a Project Manager (PM) with 5 to 15 years of experience in leading and managing complex projects. This senior role requires strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of customized products and enterprise GIS (Geographic Information Systems) solutions.
The ideal candidate will oversee multiple projects, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives. Strong problem-solving skills, experience in implementing GIS or technology solutions, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Execution:
Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables while collaborating with stakeholders.
Monitor and control project progress, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting to executive management.
Risk Management & Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to proactively address project challenges.
Apply advanced project management methodologies, innovative approaches, and continuous improvement strategies.
Stakeholder & Team Management:
Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Mentor and coach project teams, sharing industry expertise and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, GIS, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects.
Strong experience in managing projects that impact organizational strategies.
Technical & Leadership Skills:
Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and software.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to adapt to dynamic project environments and lead multidisciplinary teams.
Certifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
Advanced certifications and specializations are highly preferred.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in Utility or Pipeline projects.
