Rates: $52.00- $58.00 per hour.

Looking for local candidates.
No per diem.
Hard hat and vest to be provided.
Steel toe boots will also be required but not provided.
Applicant will be required to visit active construction sites to coordinate projects, advise personnel, and for learning opportunities.
The current hybrid work schedule is in-office Monday through Thursday and working from home on Fridays.
Education:
BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or General)
Certifications/Licenses:
Preferred: Engineer in Training (E.I.T.)
Experience:
3+ years of progressive Engineering experience
or
Equivalent academic education and experience
Overview:
The Engineer Design contractor position will assists in the planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects. The right candidate must be a self-starter, excellent communicator, critical thinker and able to make sound decisions.

As our Engineer in the design group, a typical day might include:
Working on gas storage or gas fueling station assignments
Performing assignments involving the design of components or functionality of pipeline products Involved in the planning and design of mechanical equipment and components involving maintenance of mechanical equipment.
Performing system balances to determine the best overall solution to solve system issues or identify system low points and methods to best solve them.
Provide oversight and support for construction activities
