APS Solutions client is currently seeking an I&C Startup/Commissioning Technician for 3 to 4 months in the Midwestern region on a Combined Cycle plant, ASAP Need!
* Must have a good amount of I&C Commissioning experience on Combined Cycle plants.
* Day Shift working 60 hours a week, 6 10�s.
*Per Diem: $3210 / Month
*Mob/Demob: $1000 in / out

Job Description:
� Responsible for the safe and efficient commissioning of equipment. Act as the project
subject matter expert for instrumentation installation, application, and troubleshooting.
� Maintains effective communication with the Commissioning Instrumentation Lead, other commissioning leads, commissioning craft support, manufacturer technical field advisors, sub-contactors and the Owner's operators.
� Utilizes insight and experience by providing recommendations on strategy, best practices on commissioning and operational issues.
� Responsible to mentor direct reports.
� Identifies safe work boundaries and required energy isolation points for equipment lock out and tag out permits, as directed by the Commissioning Instrumentation Lead.
� May be designated to support the Commissioning Instrumentation Lead in the review of work permits for the conductance of work on systems under the control of the Commissioning department.
� Conducts commissioning activities in accordance with project safety policies, manufacturer guidelines, engineering drawings, specifications, codes, standards and company guidelines.
Completes applicable test records for accuracy and conformance to established requirements.
� Actively engages in the system punchlist process through developing a knowledge of the equipment, manufacturer requirements and engineered documents to accurately assess equipment status at the time of walkdown. Proactively reports completion of punchlist items.
� Ensure all instrumentation and communication equipment is installed, configured, and performing as designed.
� May support the development of and is responsible to adhere to detailed equipment/system commissioning plans.
� Troubleshoot plant operational issues and coordinate corrective action.
� Develop and maintain all equipment inspection and maintenance logs/reports.
� Participate in the On-the-Job training (OJT) of client personnel, as directed by the Commissioning Instrumentation Lead.
� Supports manufacturer and subcontractor staff in their pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, as directed by the Commissioning Instrumentation Lead.
� Assist with construction activities in the field, including resolving field issues, and tracking installation as may be required.
� Complete and provide field reporting, timesheets, and test reports from craft labor and consultants, as directed by Commissioning Instrumentation Lead.
� Active participant of the project Commissioning reporting process, as directed by the Commissioning Instrumentation Lead.
� Adhere to project Commissioning schedule and communicate delays and progress to the Commissioning Instrumentation Lead.
� Track and document modifications in design and application. Adheres to the project drawing redline (markup) processes.
� Read and interpret engineered documents and drawings.
� Inspect systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or required repairs to ensure compliance.
