Overview:
Managing a Gas cross bore program requires a dedicated and skilled team of support personnel to ensure the safety, efficiency, and success of the project. Cross bores, which occur when one underground utility intersects another, can pose significant risks if not properly managed.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Administrative or clerical training is a plus
Skills:
Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Job responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating cross bore inspection projects from planning to execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Provide administrative support for project documentation and reporting.
Assist in scheduling cross bore inspections and field activities.
Learn and utilize relevant software and tools for project coordination.
Participate in project meetings and communicate project updates.
Develop a foundational understanding of cross bore project management principles.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Independently coordinate and manage cross bore inspection projects.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies and industry organizations on compliance.
Lead cross bore inspection teams and field activities.
Utilize advanced project management software and tools.
Mentor and guide junior project coordination staff.
Contribute to process improvements and best practices in project coordination.
Provide expertise in cross bore project management and safety practices.
Coordinate Failed Inspections with Field Operations and Construction Operations
Upload Sewer Locate Cards to Click Ticket Management System
Coordinate and implement improvements for Programs with a focus on Failed Inspections.
Providing administrative support to the program manager and other team members
Maintaining program documentation and records
Coordinating meetings and communication between team members
Handling inquiries and correspondence related to the program
This position does not require driving (excluding commute)
This position does not require personal protective equipment
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
