Looking for a constriction manager/inspector. 1 year assignment. Will support Operations Server Room Remodel Project for Southwestern Power Administration.
Responsibilities:
Must Be thoroughly familiar with the construction contract specifications, statement of work(SOW), and drawings.
Provide construction support by responding to Request for Information (RFI) and submittals,
as requested.
Verify for the government that work performed by the construction contractor complies with and adheres to the contract.
Monitor safety compliance, identify potential hazards, and report safety issues or deviations to the COR ensuring OSHA standards and Southwestern Safety Handbook are maintained at all times during site visits.

Perform site visits weekly

• Random site visits to verify compliance with plans and specifications, environmental
compliance, and proper safety in the work zone.
• Inspection of structural integrity, proper plumbing, electrical prior to enclosing of drywall or
ceiling materials
• Support Testing the HVAC and Fire Suppression Systems.
• Final inspection for the development of a punch list and, if applicable, follow-up inspection.

Prepare weekly reports and submit them to the COR no later than Tuesday of the following week of performance
