Job Title: Senior Electrical Designer – Power Generation

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid: In-office Tuesday–Thursday, Work from Home Monday & Friday)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer with a strong background in the power generation industry. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of design experience and have a proven track record of leading electrical design efforts on new generation projects. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a preference for candidates based in the Tampa area.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the electrical design for new power generation projects from concept through execution.

Develop and review detailed 3D electrical design models and drawings.

Utilize MicroStation and related design tools to produce high-quality deliverables.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and project engineering.

Ensure all electrical designs meet project specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the power generation industry.

Proficiency in MicroStation with recent hands-on project experience.

Strong expertise in 3D modeling and design.

Demonstrated experience leading electrical design for new generation facilities.

Background working with fossil fuel gas turbines, HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators), and steam turbines.

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
