360X Staffing is hiring for Heavy Equipment Operators in Cheyenne, WY.

Pay: $30 - 35/hr DOE + $160 daily per diem for days worked

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator with experience operating excavators and backhoes around live natural gas pipelines. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to safely expose active pipelines carrying flowing natural gas without incident.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate excavators and backhoes to dig around and expose live natural gas pipelines.
Perform excavation and trenching with a high level of accuracy to avoid damage to underground utilities.
Read and interpret utility locates, job plans, and maps to determine exact dig locations.
Work closely with foremen, utility inspectors, and crew members to ensure safe digging practices.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations regarding natural gas pipeline work.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

Requirements:

Must be experienced operating excavators and backhoes.
Must have prior experience digging around live, flowing natural gas pipelines.
Strong understanding of underground utility safety, including hand-dig zones and tolerance zones.
Ability to remain calm and focused while working in high-risk environments.
Valid operator certification or heavy equipment license as required by local/state regulations.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Working Hours: 50+ hours per week
