Production Expeditor
Location: TX / LA Gulf Coast (travel required)
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days remote, 2–3 days on-site at project offices/supplier sites)
Interview: Virtual (1 round; possible 2nd)

Role
Expedite manufacturing + assembly progress for prefab/metal building scope (shell, PB/DB, FPS, HVAC, lighting). (Optional later: electrical equipment install + integrated commissioning.)

Responsibilities
Confirm materials ordered and on-time delivery

Track progress: manpower, shifts/hours, tasks/% complete, constraints, punch lists

Lead 2–3 week look-ahead calls with suppliers/sub-suppliers

Coordinate QA: witness/hold points, NOI timing, inspection readiness, documentation

Supplier/site visits to verify progress vs reports

Verify equipment readiness/certifications (cranes, welding equipment, etc.)

Enforce safe work; stop work if required

Issue weekly report to Project/Procurement; escalate risks early

Requirements
Engineering degree (Civil/Structural/Mechanical) or equivalent technical experience

Metal building/prefab experience (steel framing, cladding)

QA/QC or inspection experience in PEMB/modular/structural work

Welding/bolting/paneling/alignment familiarity; codes/standards a plus

Primavera P6 (or similar) scheduling experience
