• Monitor and routinely inspect the hydrogen pipeline, well heads and conditioning skids.
• Perform chemical offload operations and procedures.
• Respond to plant and equipment alarms.
• Monitor, inspect and maintain the evaporation and brine ponds.
• Operate facility mobile equipment and perform routine inspections.
• Support safety and environmental standards, inspections, and testing.
• Monitor process parameters, flow rates, temperatures, pressures, and other relevant variables to maintain optimal operating conditions.
• Execute proper shutdown and start-up procedures for equipment and processes to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Perform routine checks, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on electrolyzer components (electrodes, membranes, pumps), execute maintenance tasks on reformer tubes, catalyst beds, burners, and perform routine inspections, lubrication, and maintenance of hydrogen compressors, including valves and seals.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on PSA units, including adsorption beds and valves, inspect and maintain membranes, valves, and other components in membrane separation units, and perform regular inspections of hydrogen storage tanks for integrity, safety valves, and instrumentation.
• Conduct maintenance on cryogenic components, heat exchangers, and equipment in liquefaction units.
• Activate emergency shutdown systems in case of safety incidents and respond promptly to unscheduled maintenance needs and emergency breakdowns.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, monitor and respond to gas detection alarms, and ensure proper ventilation in case of gas releases.
• Monitor and maintain hydrogen quality through routine checks and adjustments and implement procedures to address deviations from quality standards.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of operational parameters, events, and maintenance activities, and generate reports on equipment performance, incidents, and production metrics.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities.
• Provide input on equipment performance and reliability for maintenance planning.
