We are seeking highly skilled Boiler Tube Welders. Candidates must be proficient in welding High-Alloy Chrome-Moly materials per ASME standards for high-pressure steam service.

Location: Various project locations in the Gulf Coast and in the Northeast.

Project Type: Outage support at Coal Fired Boiler Plants and Combined Cycle Plants.

Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Rate: $40 + DOE
• Per Diem: $140 x 7, but subject to flex based on specific project.
• Mobilization: $500 in / $500 out
• Schedule: 7 – 12’s, but subject to flex based on specific project.
• Duration: Multiple projects, consistent work from early March to end of May.

Project Overview
This project involves critical high-pressure steam path maintenance for large-scale power generation facilities. The scope focuses on the technical execution of heavy-wall tube-to-header and tube-to-tube joints in Creep Strength Enhanced Ferritic (CSEF) steel systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Technical Execution: Perform full penetration welds on High-Alloy Chrome materials.
• Safety & Quality: Maintain strict adherence to project-specific Quality Control requirements, including 100% volumetric NDE and hardness testing protocols.
• Thermal Control: Manage precise pre-heat and interpass temperatures.

Requirements
• Experience: 5+ years in the Power Industry, specifically Tube Welding.
• Certifications: OSHA 10
• Tools: Proficient with induction heating systems, thermal monitoring equipment, and specialized purge setups for alloy root passes.
