Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an degreed Engineer to fill a nine-month contract assignment in the Birmingham, AL area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Requirements:
0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree

Introductory engineering knowledge
Basic problem-solving skills
Limited discretion making independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor
Basic discipline software knowledge

The ability to build effective relationships

Responsibilities:
Support the Comprehensive System Review Efforts and site Technical Evaluations (TEs)/ Preventive Maintenance Change Request (PMCR) backlog reduction efforts
Help perform a single component vulnerability review for the recirc and RCS systems
Develop spreadsheets to compile data on components classification, health, vendor and industry recommendations, and validate AI review and recommendations for maintenance strategy
Input PMCR recommendations into Maximo per procedural guidance and recommendations provided in SCVR reports.
Review and provide justifications to resolve currently open vulnerabilities tracked in TEs
