Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced degreed Systems Business Analyst 2 to fill a one-year contract assignment in the Birmingham, AL area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $42.00 - $47.00 per hour
Per diem is available if you qualify.
US Citizenship is required.
Work Location: Birmingham, AL
Position will be on site (5 days in the office).
The team covers 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, and most start between 6:00 - 7:00 am.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
2- 5 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related role.
Experience with Oracle, SQL and Maximo is required
This position will also utilize Company systems such as STOMP (asset management), Teams, and emails.
Proficiency in business process modeling tools, requirements management software, and system analysis techniques.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with Power BI is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
This position will provide assistance to the Equipment Services Major Equipment Request process.
Manage the process of incoming requests, processing those requests, and providing assistance for material slotting & requisitions.
Lead the gathering and documentation of detailed business requirements for system enhancements and projects.
Conduct in-depth system analysis, including process modeling and data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system functionality and integration.
Lead the preparation of comprehensive documentation, including process flowcharts, user guides, and system requirements specifications.
Contribute to the development of advanced business systems analysis methodologies and best practices.
Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on business systems analysis projects.
