Job Summary:  
NAES is seeking an experienced Maintenance Advisor to support maintenance program improvements at a natural gas power generation facility in Louisiana. This role will focus on strengthening and finalizing key maintenance processes, including preventive maintenance programs, CMMS structure, equipment inventory linkage, and outage preparation. The Maintenance Advisor will serve in a consultative capacity, working closely with plant leadership to evaluate current maintenance systems, recommend improvements, and mentor site personnel to enhance reliability and maintenance execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Review and assess existing preventive maintenance (PM) programs and maintenance procedures to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
•    Support completion and optimization of CMMS systems, including equipment hierarchies, PM tasks, and equipment-to-inventory linkage.
•    Assist site leadership in strengthening maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management processes.
•    Provide mentorship and guidance to maintenance planners, technicians, and operations staff on maintenance best practices.
•    Support planning and preparation for upcoming plant outage activities.
•    Review equipment documentation and maintenance history to ensure programs align with OEM recommendations and industry standards.
•    Collaborate with plant leadership, operations, and maintenance teams to improve plant reliability, documentation, and maintenance efficiency.

Job Requirements:
•    Strong background in power plant maintenance and operations, preferably within gas turbine or combined-cycle facilities.
•    Experience implementing or improving CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, or similar maintenance management platforms.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, equipment hierarchies, and maintenance documentation systems.
•    Experience supporting outage planning and plant maintenance programs in power generation or heavy industrial facilities.
•    Ability to evaluate existing maintenance processes and implement practical improvements.
•    Strong communication and mentoring skills with the ability to guide less experienced staff.
•    Ability to work independently in a consultative role supporting plant leadership.

Education / Experience:
•    10+ years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance leadership, reliability engineering, or related roles.
•    Experience in gas turbine, combined-cycle, or large industrial power generation facilities preferred.
