Job Title: Control Room Operator
Location: Gregory, Texas
Type: 6 month Contract
Compensation: $65 - $70 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7 on / 7 off

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor the control systems for a 2x1 combined cycle power plant located in Gregory, TX.
Manage GE7FA gas turbines and Mitsubishi Steam turbines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Utilize Mark 6e and ABB control systems to oversee plant functions effectively.
Handle ROs and demineralization trailers as part of daily operations.
Perform daily inspections and troubleshooting of inside and outside plant equipment.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to address operational issues promptly and efficiently.

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience operating control systems in a power plant environment.
Strong knowledge of GE7FA turbines, Mitsubishi Steam turbines, and plant controls.
Experience with Mark 6e and ABB control systems.
Ability to work 40 hours per week, scheduled on a 2x1 shift pattern.
High attention to safety protocols and operational procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
