Job Title: Boilermaker
Project Type: Fabrication, installation, and repair of boilers, HRSGs, and pressure vessels
Duration: Extended durations (Project-based)
Schedule: 6 x 12's

💰 Compensation & Logistics
Mobilization: $1000 in / $1000 out

🛠️ Responsibilities & Technical Execution
Technical Execution:

Fabricate, install, and maintain critical boiler systems (HRSGs, coal-fired utility boilers, drum-type vessels).

Perform boiler tube work, including cutting/replacing water walls, superheaters, and reheaters.

Execute "mirror welding," window welds, and dutchmen repairs in confined furnace areas.

Expand tubes into steam and mud drums using pneumatic rolling tools.

Conduct heavy rigging and signaling for components (Harps/Modules) weighing 50+ tons.

Assemble heavy steel casing, breeching, exhaust stacks, and ducting modules.

Overhaul large rotating air preheaters and replace gaskets/seal manway doors.

Perform layout, fitting, and bolt-up of heavy-gauge structural steel and gas turbine exhaust systems.

Ensure precision leveling and alignment of industrial components.

Safety & Quality Standards:

Adhere strictly to ASME Section I standards for X-Ray quality welds (SMAW and GTAW).

Follow strict Permit-Required Confined Space, hole watch, and air monitoring protocols.

Maintain safety regulations and wear all required PPE.

Meet physical requirements for pulmonary function testing and respiratory protection.

Documentation:

Ability to interpret complex blueprints, P&IDs, and Boiler Arrangement drawings.

📋 Requirements
Experience:

4+ years of industrial Boilermaker experience.

Proven experience with Tube Welding (TIG/Stick) and Mirror Welding.

Experience in layout/fitting of heavy-gauge structural steel.

Certifications:

Valid jurisdictional driver's license.

Tools & Proficiency:

Welding/Cutting: SMAW, GTAW, oxy-fuel torches, and carbon arc gougers.

Rigging: Knots, hitches, and load calculations.

Mechanical: Tube expanders, serrating tools, and pneumatic rolling tools.

Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights or in extreme temperatures.
