Job Title: Shift Supervisor (Combined Cycle)

Project Type: 2x1 Combined Cycle Power Generation

🛠️ Technical Execution & Responsibilities
Plant Operations: Manage the starting, stopping, and monitoring of a 2x1 configuration (GE 7EA gas turbines and GE steam turbine) and balance of plant equipment.

Systems Monitoring: Utilize DCS for monitoring performance and load sharing; troubleshoot plant abnormalities using historical trends.

Technical Diagnosis: Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues; demonstrate a strong understanding of basic protective relay equipment.

Vendor Management: Handle contractor paperwork and manage outside vendors and specialized technicians to meet project timelines.

Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret complex schematics and understand power distribution systems.

🛡️ Safety, Quality & Documentation
Permitting: Issue daily safety work permits, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space entry, and Hot Work permits.

Compliance: Ensure facility operation adheres to OEM, company, and regulatory standards.

Administrative Reporting: Maintain an electronic logbook and prepare daily logs and reports detailing plant status and performance.

Environmental Health & Safety: Follow established EH&S standards to achieve an accident and injury-free work environment.

Physical Activity: Ability to work indoors/outdoors, climb ladders, work at elevations, and lift 50 pounds in noisy or dirty environments.

📋 Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in the power generation industry, specifically with Combined Cycle operations and GE 7EA technology.

Certifications: Mandatory 2nd Class Massachusetts Stationary Engineers license; valid jurisdictional driver license.

Tools: Distributed Control Systems (DCS), GE 7EA technology, GE Steam Turbines, and electronic operational logbooks.
