NAES Staffing Services is seeking Plant Water Technicians / Wastewater Treatment Operators to work a 6-month assignment in Wellington, CO. The daily per diem rate is $178 and the pay rate is $45 -$50/hr.

Shift is 4x10's plus OT.

They operate a state certified potable water treatment system as well as demineralization system that supplies water for the boiler steam cycle. While this individual would be supporting activities in the treatment facilities, the primary need is in boiler cycle chemistry, managing conditions of feedwater and steam.

Job Summary
Maintains the safe and effective operation of all plant process water, potable water, and wastewater systems in support of the energy station.

Essential duties and responsibilities
• Models the mission, vision, values, and culture of the organization
• Operates plant potable water, demineralized water, sanitary wastewater, and phosphorous removal treatment systems to comply with federal, state and local regulations
• Identifies and troubleshoots plant potable water, demineralized water, sanitary wastewater, and phosphorous removal treatment system operational issues
• Identifies areas of improvement within water treatment systems, and power plant cycle chemistry, and suggests equipment upgrades
• Serves as project manager for applicable water treatment system and power plant cycle chemistry upgrade and/or maintenance projects
• Monitors all water treatment systems, power plant cycle chemistry, dam integrity and lake water quality
