Job Title: Flex Operator

Project Type: Power Plant Operations & Maintenance

Duration: Short Term

Schedule: 7 x 12's

Compensation & Logistics
Mobilization: $750.00 in / out

Per Diem: $130.00/day x 7 days

Technical Execution & Responsibilities
Dual-Role Operations: Transition seamlessly between Control Room Operator (CRO) and Auxiliary Operator (AO) functions based on plant demands.

Control Room Functions: Remotely monitor and control gas turbines, generators, and balance of plant systems from the centralized DCS interface.

Field Operations: Conduct local plant rounds, verify equipment status, align valves, and perform first-line physical checks on auxiliary systems.

Instrumentation & Controls (I&C): Apply technical expertise to monitor, troubleshoot, and perform basic calibrations or diagnostics on field instruments, transmitters, and control loops.

Safety, Quality & Documentation
Hazard Isolation: Participate in or lead Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) clearances, ensuring safe equipment boundaries for maintenance teams.

Process Safety: Respond rapidly to plant alarms and process abnormalities from either the screen or the field to ensure operational integrity.

Shift Logging: Maintain detailed electronic and written logs of plant parameters, equipment handovers, and system configurations.

Requirements
Experience: Proven experience performing both floor/auxiliary and control room operations within a power generation environment.

Technical Specialty: Preferred background operating GE LM6000 aeroderivative gas turbine units.

Skills Profile: A strong background in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) is highly preferred.

Tools: Distributed Control Systems (DCS), HMI screens, calibration equipment, and standard hand tools.
