TTS' Industrial Services Group is looking for a Lead Electrical Commissioning Specialist to support commissioning and startup activities on a utility-scale Simple Cycle Power Plant project. This individual will serve as the electrical commissioning lead for assigned systems and work closely with commissioning management, construction, engineering, OEM vendors, and plant operations personnel.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive power plant startup and commissioning experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead electrical commissioning activities in the field.

Responsibilities

* Lead field execution of electrical commissioning activities.
* Perform and supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and testing activities.
* Execute approved commissioning procedures and test plans.
* Coordinate daily commissioning activities with construction, operations, and vendor representatives.
* Support development and review of commissioning procedures, turnover packages, and punch lists.
* Verify completion of construction work prior to system turnover.
* Lead system walkdowns and turnover inspections.
* Coordinate energization activities and support startup operations.
* Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues identified during commissioning.
* Ensure commissioning documentation is completed accurately and submitted on schedule.
* Maintain compliance with site safety requirements and commissioning procedures.
* Provide daily progress updates to commissioning leadership.

Required Qualifications

* Minimum 7 years of electrical commissioning experience.
* Minimum 3 years of power generation commissioning experience.
* Previous experience as a Lead Electrical Commissioning Specialist, Lead Electrical Technician, Electrical Commissioning Engineer, Startup Engineer, or similar role.
* Demonstrated experience commissioning utility-scale power generation facilities.
* Strong understanding of electrical system testing, energization, and startup processes.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection drawings.
* Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.

Required Power Plant Experience

Candidates must have direct commissioning experience on one or more of the following:

* Simple Cycle Power Plants
* Combined Cycle Power Plants
* Natural Gas-Fired Power Plants
* Combustion Turbine Facilities
* Peaking Power Stations

Electrical Systems Experience

Experience commissioning and testing:

* Medium-voltage switchgear
* High-voltage switchgear
* Power transformers
* Generator protection systems
* Protective relays
* Generator step-up transformers (GSU)
* Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
* Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
* UPS systems
* Battery systems
* Synchronization systems
* SCADA and plant control interfaces
