NAES Staffing Services is looking for O&M Technicians to work in Pueblo CO on a 60-day contract position. This position pays $60/hr plus per diem ($178 daily) and is looking for someone to start by the end of the month. Prior power plant experience is REQUIRED. Position summary: Safely perform plant operations, testing, maintenance and administrative functions for a power plant consisting of four GE LM6000 gas turbine generators, four heat recovery steam generators, two steam turbine generators, one simple cycle LM6000, two simple cycle LMS100 gas turbine generators and balance of plant support equipment.

Essential Functions:
• Comprehensive understanding of combined cycle power plant operations to include start-up, shutdown and emergency operational actions.
• Perform both routine and non-routine preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
• Operate a forklift.
• Assist in the training of new operators.
• Continuously increase own knowledge by personal independent study utilizing available resources and technical manuals.
• Direct and implement all safety and emergency procedures as required. .
• Perform chemical analysis on plant water systems which include boiler water, demineralized water, condensate water, feedwater, cooling water, and raw water.
• Perform proper turnover discussing current plant status, potential problem areas and status of current clearances and maintenance activities.
