NAES Staffing Services is looking for O&M Technicians to work in Batavia NY on a 6-8 week contract position. This position pays $60/hr plus per diem ($178 daily) and is looking for someone to start by the end of the month. Prior power plant experience is REQUIRED. The Batavia Power Plant is located in the City of Batavia, Genesee County, New York State. This plant, a sister to the Sterling facility, is also configured as a one-on-one combined cycle/cogeneration facility. The 62 MW plant utilizes clean-burning natural gas as the primary fuel to fire the GE Frame 6 gas turbine.

Essential Functions:
� Comprehensive understanding of combined cycle power plant operations to include start-up, shutdown and emergency operational actions.
� Perform both routine and non-routine preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
� Operate a forklift.
� Assist in the training of new operators.
� Continuously increase own knowledge by personal independent study utilizing available resources and technical manuals.
� Direct and implement all safety and emergency procedures as required. .
� Perform chemical analysis on plant water systems which include boiler water, demineralized water, condensate water, feedwater, cooling water, and raw water.
� Perform proper turnover discussing current plant status, potential problem areas and status of current clearances and maintenance activities.
