TTS' Industrial Services Group is looking for a Lead Electrical Commissioning Technician to support the startup and commissioning of large-scale industrial energy facilities in the Mountain West. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for electrical commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through startup and final turnover.

Responsibilities
Lead field execution of electrical commissioning activities for substations, power distribution systems, transmission interconnections, and related plant equipment.
Coordinate commissioning efforts with engineering, construction, operations, contractors, and equipment vendors.
Oversee electrical testing, startup, system integration, energization, and performance verification.
Support commissioning planning, readiness reviews, walkdowns, inspections, and turnover documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during startup and coordinate resolution with engineering and vendor teams.
Ensure all commissioning work is performed safely and in compliance with project procedures and industry standards.
Mentor technicians and contractors while driving schedule, quality, and successful project execution.
Maintain commissioning records, punch lists, test documentation, and turnover packages.

Qualifications
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls, or equivalent field experience.
Minimum 5 years of electrical commissioning experience in power generation, industrial facilities, utilities, renewable energy, or other complex industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of:
Medium- and low-voltage electrical systems
Three-phase power distribution
Switchgear
VFDs
Electrical testing and startup procedures
Experience coordinating third-party contractors and multiple project stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Preferred Experience
Experience with utility interconnections and substation commissioning.
Knowledge of NETA, ASHRAE, or other commissioning standards.
Power generation, renewable energy, or large industrial facility startup experience.
Project management or commissioning certifications are a plus.
Schedule & Travel
Full-time field assignment.
Candidates should be willing to travel and work extended hours during critical startup and commissioning activities.
