Onshore ROW Pipeline Inspectors & Chief Inspector Needed.

At PTI, you will join a safety-focused culture, work directly on critical infrastructure projects, and collaborate closely with onshore and offshore project teams to ensure all materials and equipment meet regulatory, customer, and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Inspection Duties
Welding Oversight: Monitor, inspect, and record daily welding activities, including fit-ups, bevel checks, pre-heat checks, and parameter checks.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough visual inspections and leverage AUT (Automated Ultrasonic Testing) interpretation experience to ensure weld integrity.
Compliance & Technical Review: Review project procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), technical drawings, and isometrics to ensure absolute alignment with industry codes and specifications.
Reporting: Utilize inspection tools, manage calibration documentation, and generate precise daily digital reports. Maintain consistent daily communication via email and phone.
Coating Inspection Duties
Process Monitoring: Monitor the coating vendor's processes and perform visual inspections of applied coatings.
Documentation: Review coating procedures/ITPs and generate comprehensive daily quality reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certifications: Active AWS/CWI, NACE, or NDT certifications REQUIRED.
Technical Expertise: Strong QA/QC background with hands-on experience in visual, dimensional, and documentation checks on piping and related components.
Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with oil & gas pipelines onshore/offshore operations, including industry regulations, safety standards, and permit-to-work systems.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, and proficiency with computer/digital reporting tools (email, basic software).
Education & Screening: High school diploma or equivalent required (technical/vocational training in welding/inspection is an advantage). Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and provide professional references.
Logistics: Ability to travel, work in field environments, and meet the physical requirements for onshore/field work.
