  • TTS' Industrial Services Group is looking for a Process/Piping Commissioning & Start-Up Engineer to support a large semiconductor manufacturing project in the Northeastern US. This is a full-time, on-site field assignment focused on commissioning high-purity process and utility systems as the facility transitions from construction into operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for specialty gas, chemical, slurry, ultrapure water, and waste systems
    • Perform pressure and leak testing, purging, drying, inerting, passivation, and purity verification
    • Commission UPW distribution systems, including flushing, sanitization, resistivity testing, and TOC verification
    • Verify chemical distribution, waste neutralization, containment, gas detection, scrubber, abatement, and emergency shutdown systems
    • Conduct system walkdowns using P&IDs and design drawings
    • Identify, document, and track punch-list items through completion
    • Complete commissioning test packages and maintain accurate system turnover records
    • Coordinate with construction, engineering, vendors, operations, and other commissioning disciplines
    • Follow established LOTO, energization permitting, SIMOPS, and site safety requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant field experience may be considered
    • Minimum 10 years of commissioning and start-up experience in industrial, high-tech, semiconductor, or cleanroom facilities
    • Hands-on experience with high-purity systems, including UPW, bulk and specialty gases, and chemical distribution
    • Experience with SEMI/AGS qualification, passivation, leak integrity testing, and purity verification
    • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, design drawings, and commissioning documentation
    • Working knowledge of CSU test packages, system turnover, punch-list management, and field safety procedures
    • Strong communication and coordination skills in a fast-paced construction and commissioning environment
