TTS' Industrial Services Group is looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning and startup of a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, on-site field assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-commissioning and functional testing of switchgear, transformers, MCCs, panelboards, UPS systems, and emergency power systems.
- Execute protective-relay testing, breaker injection testing, insulation-resistance testing, continuity testing, and contact-resistance testing.
- Verify grounding, bonding, phase rotation, polarity, and system readiness before energization.
- Support electrical energization plans, back-feed checks, load-bank testing, and system performance verification.
- Test ATS/STS transfer schemes, metering, power monitoring, and electrical interfaces with BMS and control systems.
- Conduct system walkdowns and identify, document, and track deficiencies through closure.
- Maintain commissioning records and support system turnover.
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, vendors, and site commissioning leadership.
- Follow all LOTO, energization permit, SIMOPS, NFPA 70E, and arc-flash safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant field experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of commissioning and startup experience in industrial, high-tech, semiconductor, or cleanroom facilities.
- Hands-on experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
- Strong knowledge of protective relays, breaker testing, electrical test packages, and system turnover.
- Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, P&IDs, electrical drawings, and commissioning procedures.
- Strong communication, coordination, and field problem-solving skills.
