EXCEL Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Ironworker to join our dynamic team. As an Ironworker, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and installation of structural steel components for various industrial projects. Your expertise in connecting, layouts, rigging, and fabrication will contribute to the safe and efficient completion of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Perform layout and measurement tasks to ensure accurate placement of steel components.
• Use various hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate steel materials.
• Connect structural steel elements according to project specifications.
• Rig and hoist heavy steel components into place using cranes and other equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure proper alignment and fit of steel elements.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete tasks within given timeframes and meet project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal trade school is preferred.
• Previous experience as an industrial ironworker in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with rigging is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, OSHA 30) are a plus.

 $105 per day per diem

6:00am- 4:00pm
