Location: 100% Remote with Up to 100% Travel

Key Responsibilities:

· Execute complex welding tasks on large generator components using steel, stainless steel, and nickel-based alloys.

· Operate TIG, MIG, robotic welders, and fabrication tools to perform precision repair work.

· Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality on every job.

· Conduct in-process and final weld inspections using calipers, gauges, and precision measurement tools to ensure high-quality standards.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to carry out non-routine repair procedures.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Proficiency in TIG/MIG welding, robotic systems, fabrication tools, and precision measurement instruments.

· Ability to inspect welds, identify defects, and accurately complete production and quality records.

· Minimum of 5 years of welding experience in industrial, heavy manufacturing, or component repair environments.

· Willingness to travel extensively.

· Security Clearance Ready: Must pass an extended background check, including drug screening, to obtain unescorted access to nuclear facilities.

· Global Mindset: Must be willing to obtain and maintain a valid passport for international assignments.

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Comfortable working significant overtime, including 12-hour shifts across varied schedules.

Physical Requirements:

1. Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, including equipment and tools.

2. Stamina: Ability to work long hours, including 12-hour shifts, often in physically demanding conditions.

3. Mobility: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods while performing machining tasks.

4. Manual Dexterity: Proficient use of hands and fingers for operating machinery, tools, and precision measuring instruments.

5. Vision: Good eyesight, including the ability to distinguish colors and read technical drawings and schematics.

6. Balance and Coordination: Ability to maintain balance while working on uneven surfaces or at heights, as well as coordination for operating machinery safely.

7. Endurance: Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, noise, and confined spaces.

8. Safety Awareness: Must be able to adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

These physical requirements ensure that the Welder can perform their duties effectively and safely in diverse and challenging environments.

Will be required to take a weld test & test consists of three tests Carbon Tig, Carbon Stick and Inconel Tig.
