TTS' Industrial Services Group is looking for a Lead Electrical Technician to support testing and commissioning activities on a major industrial project in the Southwest U.S. This is a full-time, site-based assignment expected to last approximately 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical system walkdowns and verify installation readiness
- Monitor testing and commissioning activities performed by subcontractors
- Perform or oversee detailed equipment checkouts and functionality checks
- Document deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions
- Coordinate vendors, subcontractors, and construction support
- Support system turnover and acceptance testing
- Enforce startup procedures, electrical safety practices, and LOTO requirements
Systems may include:
- Medium- and low-voltage switchgear
- UPS systems and transfer switches
- Electrical distribution systems
- Grounding and bonding systems
- Lighting systems
- Electrical monitoring and control systems
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on electrical testing, startup, or commissioning experience
- Demonstrated experience leading technicians or subcontractor work
- Ability to read electrical drawings, identify deficiencies, and document test results
- Experience with multi-train electrical systems
- Semiconductor, data center, or other mission-critical facility experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and LOTO requirements
