** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Sitework Designer 2 to fill a one-year contract assignment in the Birmingham, AL area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $42.00 - $46.00 per hour
US Citizenship Required.
Per diem is available if you qualify.
Job Title: Sitework Designer 2
Work Location: Birmingham, AL
Requirements:
• Required PPE for field visits: hard hats, steel toe boots, safety glasses, hi-vis vest
• This position requires travel 25% of the time.
Experience:
5 – 10 years of related experience
Technical degree preferred
Responsibilities:
• Producing 3D models and design drawings for sitework grading and drainage
• Preparing layouts and conceptual designs
• Reviewing vendor drawings
• Preparing material takeoffs and assist with cost estimates.
• Skillsets and Expertise:
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• 3D modeling experience is preferred
• Knowledge of environmental regulations such as Ga-EPD, ADEM, MDEQ, and Florida DEP
• The ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
