Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Location: Jamacia, NY
Type: 6 month Contract
$85-90/hr (Rate NEG)
Per Diem: $329/day

Responsibilities

Site Management: Direct daily field activities, crews, and vendors on power generation construction sites.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA and company safety standards, conducting site audits and safety meetings.
Schedule & Budget Control: Track project milestones, review construction drawings, and ensure work aligns with timelines and budgets.
Quality Assurance: Inspect workmanship and manage deficiency corrections with contractors.
Communication: Act as the primary liaison between field personnel, project managers, and engineers.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of heavy industrial or power plant construction supervision.
Education: High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, and design schematics, plus proficiency in project management software.
