Requirements:
PPE: hard hat, safety boots & glasses, safety vest

Education:
10+ years heavy industrial/power plant experience

Job responsibilities
Include producing 3D models and design drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, and/or ductwork, preparing layouts and conceptual designs, reviewing vendor shop fabrication drawings, preparing material takeoffs and assist with cost estimates, coordinating work with other disciplines, clients, and contractors, and performing site walk-downs for field verification and to address constructability.

Skillsets and expertise
Proficient using AutoCAD, 3D modeling experience is strongly preferred, experience in Microsoft/Bentley and/or Advanced steel structural software is preferred, steel/concrete detailing background is a plus.
Must be able to produce clear, concise drawing notes, able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
This position requires driving (excluding commute)

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
