APS is gearing up for a BIG Fall outage season. We are looking for seasoned Shift Foreman Steam Turbine Millwrights to join our team.

Locations: Throughout the United States

Duration: Will vary, but projects are kicking off mid-September and should carry through outage season.

Pay: Pay may vary by project, but the typical rate is $42/hr.

Per Diem: Varies by location, but offered on all projects(for those that qualify) and paid 7 days a week.

Travel: Mob/Demob will be paid for each project(for those that qualify).

Essential Job Functions
· Lead and supervise turbine millwrights, mechanics, and support personnel during outage and maintenance activities.
· Direct daily work assignments while ensuring projects meet safety, quality, production, and schedule requirements.
· Coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and customer expectations throughout assigned shifts.
· Monitor turbine disassembly, inspection, repair, alignment, assembly, and testing activities.
· Review work packages, drawings, specifications, and customer procedures with crew members.
· Conduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and toolbox talks.
· Communicate progress, workforce needs, and project concerns to superintendents, project managers, and customer representatives.
· Ensure proper documentation of completed work, inspections, and turnover reports.
· Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all site requirements.

Qualifications
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
· Significant experience in steam turbine maintenance, outages, or rotating equipment services.
· Previous leadership experience as a Foreman, Lead Millwright, Lead Mechanic, or similar supervisory role.
· Experience working with Siemens, Mitsubishi, GE, Toshiba, Elliott, or comparable turbine equipment preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and project schedules.
· Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
· Experience coordinating crews in power generation, refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments preferred.
· Ability to travel nationwide and work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
· OSHA training, NCCER credentials, or related industry certifications are a plus.
