TTS' Industrial Services Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction activities on a large-scale industrial project in the Western U.S. This role is responsible for directing field electrical operations, supervising craft labor and subordinate supervisors, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering work in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing electrical installation activities across heavy industrial construction projects and demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and workforce management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise electrical field operations within an assigned project area.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, including conducting safety meetings and implementing safe work practices.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, industry standards, and project procedures.
Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources to support efficient project execution.
Manage labor productivity, forecasting, and workforce planning.
Maintain short-term and long-range construction schedules, including three-week look-ahead planning.
Review and approve equipment and personnel mobilization and demobilization activities.
Track installed quantities and provide progress reporting to project controls teams.
Prepare material requisitions for tools and consumables.
Support construction testing, commissioning, and startup activities as required.
Develop construction progress reports, staffing forecasts, and expenditure projections.
Mentor, train, and evaluate field personnel while identifying development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field with substantial construction experience; equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Significant experience supervising electrical construction activities on heavy industrial projects.
Strong understanding of field electrical installations from equipment installation through final terminations and startup.
Experience managing union craft labor and subcontractors.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and construction practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with scheduling, labor forecasting, and resource planning.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software applications.

Camp-based project assignment
Rotational work schedule
Extended workweeks typical of industrial construction projects
Significant field presence required
Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and scaffolding, walk long distances, and work in confined spaces when necessary
Use of standard PPE required
