NAES Staffing Services is looking for an Inventory / Procurement Specialist to work in Roanoke Rapids, NC on a 3-month contract position. This position pays $35/hr plus per diem ($181 daily). Primary Duties:

Inventory Management & Control:
Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations).
Execute transactions for receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory in the warehouse.
Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify variances or discrepancies.

MRP-Driven Inventory Support & Supply Chain Coordination:
Provide technical support for sales proposals, including feasibility studies and performance guarantees.
Customize solutions based on customer operating conditions and requirements.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and customer presentations.

Customer Engagement:
Collaborate with supply chain and production planning teams to initiate and maintain inventory levels based on MRP requirements.
Support the establishment and maintenance of minimum/maximum stock levels (safety stock) for critical materials.
Execute replenishment actions triggered by MRP runs and minimum stock thresholds.
Communicate shortages, risks, or excess inventory conditions to supply chain planners and procurement.
Assist in ensuring materials are available to meet production schedules without overstocking or stockouts.
