Position Required: Material Handling Manager

Location:  Ohio

Start Date:  March 2027

Project Duration:  Approximately 1 year.

Working Hours: 40 hours Mon-Fri, with the possibility of overtime needed.

Per Diem/Expenses: Full expenses.  However, a per diem of 68 per day x7 days for Meals and Incidentals while mobilized. 

R and R: Once a month for a long weekend at home, site conditions permitting.

Material Handling Manager (MHM) shall:

      Be present to supervise all unloading & inspection activities. All materials delivered to the site shall be inspected in two stages (Closed & Open Box Inspections). All inspections and observations shall be formally documented by Customer/Partner and OEM Representative in a Material Receiving Report within a 7-day window following the material receipt.

Ensure that laydown and storage areas are maintained in accordance with the following requirements:

Keep areas clean and well organized to prevent the accumulation of rubbish, discarded packaging materials, and other detrimental spoil. Clear scrap materials from packaging and take them to the appropriate waste disposal.Propose equipment to perform (re)preservation and ensure equipment preservation for Core products
Ensure that escalation process and contingency plan are in place, such as “STOP WORK”
Update and complete all inspections in WMSA, including releasing inspections based on inspection stages.
Collect all preservation and maintenance logs/records from the Field Engineer or/and Customer/Partner and transfer them to the commissioning responsible entity through the TOP process.
Ensure that a proper preservation log has been developed by Customer/Partner according to the O&M Manuals and that the log is kept up to date.
Acknowledge the MHM Onboarding document
Complete the training: “Material handling, storage and preservation training for MHM”
Get acquainted with the contract, including DOR and Incoterms.
