This client is one of the nationís leading independent naval architecture; marine engineering and design firm is seeking a well-qualified Electrical Designer to join our Newport News team.

Ship designer with experience in development of detail design products and drawings for ship construction and modification, using requirements documents, ship specifications and standards, and regulatory body requirements. Experience with electrical systems, system equipment arrangements, system diagrams, and 3-D modeling of the noted areas is required. The candidate must be capable of checking the work of other designers. Proficiency in AUTOCAD 2014 or later is required. ShipConstructor proficiency is desirable. Demonstrated leadership abilities preferred. Must be able to travel and work overtime as required.
