Performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys
Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
Must be able to work any shift
Must be proficient in stick, MIG, TIG, and Flux Core processes
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/oversight and have working knowledge of precision calibration tools (weld gauges), be able to operate multiple types of welding equipment, and possess good trouble shooting / problem solving skills
Must be highly motivated and a self-starter, and have the ability to work multiple shifts (as needed) and travel (as required)
5 years of related experience
High School diploma/GED and/or certification in assigned area preferred
