HKA Construction Services is now hiring Pulse Arc Structural Welder for a long-term project located in Newport News, VA. All Applicants must have four (4) years of naval shipyard experience as a 1st class Welder.

Wages:
$120.00 Per Diem Offered, if eligible
Pay: Up to $45.00 Per Hour

Required Skills:
Multi Pass. All positions fillet & butt welds using the following processes:
- SMAW
- GMAW
- FCAW
- GMAW-P
Heating - Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch
Air Carbon Arc Gouging
Ability to properly use fillet & butt weld gauges.
Performance test Required.

Qualifications:
All Welders will be required to pass all position, Multi-pass Butt Weld, Welder Qualification Tests. These tests will be:
A. All position (Horizontal (2G), Vertical (3G), and Overhead (4G)) SMAW process.
B. All position (Horizontal (2G), Vertical (3G), and Overhead (4G)) FCAW process.
C. Horizontal (2G) position GMAW process.
D. All position (Horizontal (2G), Vertical (3G), and Overhead (4G)) GMAW-P (Pulse Arc Welding) process.
E. Air Carbon Arc Gouging proficiency test.

Must successfully pass a background check and hair follicle drug test.
Must be able to work any shift and overtime if required.
