Outside Millwright Supervisor needed for a project in Charleston, SC!

-Pay $27 - $30 hr
-Per Diem: $79 working days / $59.25 travel days - in/out
-Duration: 14 days
-Accommodations: Air Travel, Hotel, and Rental car provided (if needed)
-Shift: Days - 7/10s
-Work will be performed on Two Propulsion Motors in the engine room of a ship (will be docked)
-Work to be completed: Inspect, replace bearings, and clean the propulsion motors.

Required:
-Must pass a Federal background check due to site access requirements
-Must pass a drug test
-5+ years of motor or generator repair work and bearing removal/installation experience
-Experience working with 5000 HP motors

Scope of work:
-Oversee and inspect all mechanical work completed by workers assigned to you
-Inspect all dissembled and reinstallation of all removed bearings and motor parts
-Drain and dispose of any liquid in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.
-Disassemble and temporarily remove bearings and inspect.
-Measure and record motor shaft axial clearances, runout, and air gap readings.
-Clean, stone, and polish the commutators, undercut rake, and chamfer the slots to refurbish them
to their original design condition.
-Disassemble and remove all division plates, baffles, and external components to allow cleaning
access to all windings and internal components.
-Assistance with removing and installing coupling bolts and covers etc., moving the stator back
and forth, and pole removal and installation.
-Work within tight tolerances and clearances
