JOB DETAILS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 6 years experience as an inside shop machinist required.
- Must be familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, and Conversation Controllers
- Must be able to operate manual and/or NC machines, such as lathes, mills, horizontal/vertical machining centers, and EDMs
- Must have experience with controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, and Cincinnati-Milacron.
- Must have experience with Horizontal Boring Mills: HBMs will have travel that is in the range of X500, Y250, Z50, and W65. They will have turntables about 10ft square with a load capacity of 100 tons; Vertical Turning Centers: VTCs will have tables that are roughly 80in in diameter with a 20-ton table capacity. X total travel will be about 160in and Z will have 80in of travel.
- Must be familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments, such as outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, verniers, etc.
- Must be available to work any shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
- Must be a naturalized or US citizen.

SCOPE OF WORK/JOB DUTIES:
- Marine work on a naval yard working on United States Naval vessels

PRIOR TO WORK:
Each potential employee is required to pass a federal background check and drug test.
- Employee would be responsible for own travel/lodging

PAY INFORMATION:
- Up to $45/hr
- $120/working day per diem for all qualified candidates
