7+ years’ experience Required.
Familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, etc.
Setup and operate large CNC machines such as: lathes, horizontal boring mills & gantry type machining centers and large VTC’s.
Experience with controllers such as: Siemens and or Fanuc
Familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments: outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, vernier’s, ring gages, plug gages etc.
Familiar with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirements
Drilling/tapping processes and thread milling
Familiar with carbide machining processes
Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints
Strong math skills including fractions
Machinist or Tool & Die Apprenticeship
Must have experience on:
Horizontal Boring Mills, HBM’s
Vertical Turning Centers, VTC’s.
Gantry type machining centers.

Salary: $36.00 per hour Plus Per Diem for those that qualify
Expected hours: 40- and up to 2-year contract.
